Vetted is seeking a Lifecycle & Content Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution of personalized, behavior-driven communications that deepen engagement with pet parents and drive long-term app usage.
In this role, you'll own lifecycle content from onboarding through retention and reactivation—leveraging behavioral data, pet health milestones, and customer insights to build meaningful, multichannel journeys. From emails and push notifications to in-app messaging and educational content, you'll craft experiences that build trust, encourage proactive care, and maximize lifetime value.
You’ll partner closely with product, design, operations, and marketing teams to launch campaigns that support new users, wellness reminders, pet parent care nudges, feature adoption, and more. Your content will not only educate, but also convert—turning app users into loyal clinic customers and lifelong Vetted advocates.

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Planning
- Own the development and execution of full-funnel content and customer journey marketing strategies designed to drive customer engagement, retention, and reactivation across key segments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align campaign planning with product launches, seasonal trends, and key customer touchpoints.
- Manage omnichannel campaigns across email, SMS, paid media, and social to support customer journey stages, from awareness through loyalty.
Creative & Content Oversight
- Assist to develop content that aligns with lifecycle stages (e.g., new app install, , preventative care reminders, loyalty campaigns).
- Create and maintain a library of lifecycle-focused assets, including nurture emails, blogs, challenges, tips, and other content.
App Engagement & Experience
- Develop and execute lifecycle strategies within the app, including personalized push notifications, in-app messages, and tailored content to drive engagement, education, and retention.
- Collaborate with product teams to optimize key in-app experiences across onboarding, engagement, and content delivery.
- Analyze user behavior and funnel data to improve feature adoption, reduce drop-off, and identify opportunities for upsell and re-engagement.
- Implement strategies for App Store Optimization (ASO), including metadata testing, review generation, and keyword optimization to increase app visibility and downloads.
- Monitor and respond to app reviews, using customer feedback to inform product enhancements and lifecycle campaign adjustments.
Email, SMS & CRM Campaigns
- Design and implement targeted, behavior-driven email and SMS marketing campaigns using customer data and insights.
- Optimize lifecycle campaigns through rigorous A/B testing, segmentation, and automation to increase engagement.
- Own reporting and analysis for all CRM initiatives, continuously refining strategies based on performance metrics (CTR, conversion, LTV, churn, etc.).
Customer Journey & Segmentation
- Map and refine customer journeys across digital experiences, identifying key lifecycle moments for engagement and education.
- Build and manage audience segments to deliver personalized and timely communications based on pet type, behavior, location, and care needs.
- Collaborate with product to identify opportunities for improving onboarding and loyalty touchpoints.
Qualifications:
- Required experience in B2C mobile app company
- 2+ years of experience creating content such as blogs, emails, video etc.
- 2+ years of lifecycle/retention marketing experience in email, digital ,social media and local marketing, a must
- Experience with light creative design with platforms such as Canva and Figma
- Experience with email marketing platforms and other marketing tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, OneSignal, Braze and more
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Self-starter and ability to work independently with a “roll up your sleeves” approach
- Ability to work methodically, absorb constructive feedback and meet deadlines
- An optimistic, goal- oriented and team-spirited mindset
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategy and execute promptly.
- Excellent written, verbal and in-person communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights related to sales.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
